My wife, Kathy bought this meteorite for me on my birthday last summer. It was found in the Sahara Desert in 1999 and made it's way to me through a man in South America. One side of this particular meteorite has a perfectly solid covering of fusion crust. It is shown in the top right photograph above. A small slice was cut off of one end and shows the makeup of the interior. It weighs approximately 340 grams.
